Hamas fires rockets as Tel Aviv sirens sound on Oct 7 anniversary

Hamas fires a volley of rockets at Tel Aviv on the one-year anniversary of the October 7 attacks with Israelis holding memorials to mourn the victims of the deadly assault.

Large explosions rocked southern Beirut for another night as Israeli forces continued to pound the Lebanese capital, while at least 10 people were wounded in the Israeli city of Haifa following a Hezbollah rocket attack.

At least nine Palestinian children were among 17 people killed after the Israeli military ordered civilians to immediately flee northern Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp and began heavy bombardment.

In Gaza, at least 41,870 people have been killed and 97,166 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 2023. In Israel, at least 1,139 people were killed in the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 and more than 200 people were taken captive.
